Last night because we were bumbed by things occurring in our community we forsook a planned dinner and simply prepared some cheese and a 375 ml bottle of 2001 Tobin James, Liquid Love, Late Harvest Zinfandel ($18) that we brought back from CA last month. Did the trick. The wine was lush, nutty, and delectable. Maybe tonight we'll enjoy that deferred dinner.
