Mitch Cosentino is a very old friend of mine (I knew him when he was making wine in a garage in Modesto from Sacramento County fruit, selling wine for the local Gallo wholesaler and teaching wine appreciation at the local JC...his most popular wine in those days was called "Robin's Glow," a blush made from Carignane and named for a then girlfriend), so I don't have to call him "Mister" Cosentino.

I rag on him every chance I get for getting involved in the wine/cigar fruad perpetrated by Marvin Shanken and the cigar producers.

Don't you just love it when restaurants do "Chardonnay & Cigar" tastings? Yuk!

No wine goes with cigars...Cognac maybe (the high alcohol deadens the tastebuds so you don't get as much cigar!).

I'm aware that I'm inviting a rebuttal tirade from Bucko.
