2003 Sherrer Alexander Valley Old and Mature Vines Zinfandel

At a Mo'Cool pre-party (Friday night before the Saturday picnic) I hesitated too long (with something else in my glass) and missed out on a Tommasi Amarone. So I went into the living room where the wines were set out to look for something else to pour for the ladies in the dining room and came back with pours of 2003 Sherrer Alexander Valley Old and Mature Vines Zinfandel which was a big hit all around the table. I was taking very sparse notes that evening but noted bright, fruity and smooth. Terrific Zin!
