When I was in the Netherlands we bought 4 bottles of Rose', which is the hot wine there now, and they were 5 euros a piece. Show me one drinkable wine in the states for 5 euros a bottle. Europeans cringed in Germany when I told them how much I pay for wine here. The only thing you can afford to do rather inexpensively in Europe is to become a raging alcoholic. Everything else is relatively expensive.
