2006 Valdez Family Rockpile Zinfandel

Tasted this zinfandel at ZAP. Amazing structure, amazing nose. This is probably one of my favorite zinfandels in the past month. You get the crushed bing cherry, plum, cassis, and a long balanced finish. Perfect acidity. I paired this with bacon infused chocolate and almost pulled an Ernest Hemingway because I didnt think life could get much better. :-) I know Valdez Family is having a call in sale on their zinfandels right now and were offering as much as 30-40% off.
