'94 Villa Mt. Eden Zin

Popped this tonight at my Mother in Laws. Beautiful regal dark color, clear. Big port nose, Zin fruit, vanilla and cinnamon. Strong port and zinberry flavors, slightly hot, finishing long. A beautiful zin that my only criticism was the heat from the 14.8% alc. but that seemed to diminish after an hour or so. My Mother in Law, 76 and who rarely drinks, had 4 small glasses and the face of Stan Laurel after the wine bottling scene in the movie "THE BOHEMIAN GIRL" .... I think she liked it too!!
