in my mind, the rancho zabacos are far superior to the white label gallo of sonoma bottlings. the zins of theirs that i've had (95, 97 and 98) are the soft, jammy kind of zins, whereas the RZ bottlings have what i prefer: big fruit and spice or pepper, depending on the wine. the RZ dry creek valley is definitely harder to find than the RZ sonoma heritage vines, but absolutely worth the search. good luck!
