IK, Don`t understand how the blazes these inaccuracies get started, but the closest fire I know of to Vail was in Boulder (100 or so Miles away). There was an arson fire started 4 or 5 months ago by some crazies from WITHSTAND(hehehe), Not but that was way on top of the mounting.No smoke, no fires, lots of crisp,cool, healty air-balls.We love it there this time of year as almost all the touristas have departed, the restaurants are focused, and you can jog around Betty Ford Gardens and not bump into ennythin larger than a mtn squirrel.Looked up the Pahlmeyer, it was 50 bucks in April, 98.
