Opened another of this big, bad, boy yesterday. Has traded his steel-toed work boots for some Nikes. Evolved nose of blackand red fruits, white pepper, sweet spices and some leather.Lots of tannins still lurking in the background that'll take another 2-4 to resolve. Full of fine-grained sediment. Even after sitting upright in the cellar for 3 hours still had to be filter-decanted. Still a powerful mouthfull of juice but the depth of the fruit is superb. Deep ruby. Strong center weight and a solid 4+ lapper finish kicks this sucker rite at the outstanding mark. 90/91. Can go higher. WW
