I don't think I have heard of a "blush" Puilly-Fuisse. Blush means pink. P-F is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes. It gets its name (as do all french wines) from the area it is made in.

As far as the lasagna, Go with a Chianti Classico. Gabbiano makes a nice one that is quite available and their '98 should be out now. Plus the label is quite ornate, makes for an interesting conversation piece. Do you know if there will be any sort of other flavoring with the cheese cake? chocolate or cherries or whatever?
