1996 rosemount balmoral syrah

had been waiting for an "occasion" to pop this, but last night figured "what the heck," and opened to go with a sirloin on the grill rubbed with XVOO and "dukkah," which is a blend of aussie spices.

wine had wonderful aromatics and very nice mature flavors, still plenty of acid and some fine tannins, but the fruit is fading. drink 'em if ya got 'em. 90 points.
