Not sure if this helps, but...

The 1999 Dowie Doole Shiraz,smartly packaged,is kinda hard to find in these parts. But, I belive from a trip a few years ago a guy named Leigh Gilligan (not the island I hope) was somehow involved in marketing these very decent reds. The '99 is thick, deep purple, comes off with off-dry fruit, kinda tannic, yet with a great finish. A friend says the Cab is good too. Oops, just checked! have a '96 Chenin Blanc in the basement. No clue about the wine.
