The posting on 07/04/2000 was the result of reseach done for RAD, and was quoting or paraphrasing PR found on the various California Barberas. On 08/31/2000 (Barbera Update) we posted the TNs on those we actually bought and tasted. There you can find the following: "For one with a little more edge, try 1996 Monte Volpe, California, Barbera............"

That said, let's agree that the Monte Volpe is a very, very nice wine. As a matter think we'll uncork one with some fancy burgers tonight.
