Surprising California Nebbiolo

1992 Il Podere dell'Olivos Nebbiolo "Parabola" -- Label says something about "defying the space/time continuum", which is a mystery to me, but that's darn fine juice in the bottle. Very light-bodied initially, with subdued floral and plum notes. Turned spicy on the finish. After thirty minutes or so, tannins are slightly more prominent, and chocolate/tobacco and gamey flavors show up. Nice nebbiolo character. Wish I had more...
