boyfriend is a wine god, i am not... help with meal

My boyfriend is finishing up his PhD in one week, I have a very nice meal planned...wild mushroom risotto with prawns, lobster and truffel oil. My boyfriend knows a lot about wine, and loves good wines... he is somewhat of the wine god compared to me. I am trying to learn, but have had little success. Anyway, i am looking for a wine to not only go with this dinner... but something nice and special that he will like. I know he is into reislings. I would like something not too expensive, but not cheap either. You know, something for a special occassion... he has spent the past 5 years of his life working on this PhD... and it is almost over (thank god).
