Since there was only one other real wine drinker besides us, we decided to get out the "good stuff". We opened up an 01 Siduri Garys' and an 02 Loring Rosella's. The Gary's was a huge, dark wonderful wine that was so smooth. Probably will be going good for another 3 years or more. The Rosella's was rich and fruity, almost like a Syrah, but with definite PN characteristics. This was made for drinking now, and maybe another 2 years. We like this style better than traditional Burgundian reds, but then we like Joe Davis' PN's too. Go figure.
