1997 Santa Barbara Winery, Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara County, $20 retail. Very concentrated, with lush black cherries and strawberry jam, tomato skin nuances (that I often find with this region), earthiness, finishing with soft tannins and nice acidity. A very good value and quite enjoyable.
