We went to another restaurant in Paris, Another Michelin rated one called Bistro D'A Cote from Michel Rostaing. Wonderful service as would be expected, strange interior decoration, with what appears to be many beer steins

Meal was fab, the Foie Gras and Escarots made great starters (but at $45 each, they'd better...). the meals were equally good and went well with the wine of the night, a M. Lafarge Volnay, which we asked to be decanted when we walked in (about 1.5 hours before dinner). Still, very tight as you would have guessed, highly structured, good acidity, floral nose, but very restrained, definitely needed food to go with this wine, Good density without thickness in the wine.
