2005's starting to arrive

HW, We had the 2005 Talbot, another minor 2005 Bordeaux and the 1995 Talbot for comparison at a Bordeaux tasting at the Charlotte Wine and Food weekend last week. The 2005 tasted a little harsh at this stage and I am not experienced enough to judge future potential. The 1995 Talbot was more mellow and quite enjoyable. Hopefully the 2005 will mature along similar lines or even better. I have several vintages (single bottles) of the Chateau Talbot in my collection that I have picked up in DC. Maybe I will do a vertical of Talbot sometime.
