2000 Chateau du Cartillon Cru Bourgeois

Picked this one to try, not inexpensive back then ($25) but not expensive either. Perhaps a bit closed? Simple but solid nose of red fruit, medium body, well balanced, some spices but rather simple compared with the other bordeaux's opened recently.

Nonetheless, a decent wine for an everyday night, I wish the price reflected that better.
