Hmmmm where shall I start....

-Randy and I dating?! Now that would make for an 'interesting' date. How 'bout it Randy, I will wear my new black dress if you wear your black silk. I can read the headlines now....COUPLE MURDERED IN THEIR SEATS BY IRRATE SPOUSES sorry Caldan, that is a no can do.

Calden, I am the first to admit that an attractive man that shows a confident air about him would catch my attention each and every time, over someone who does not display that. WE are all human after all, and most men want those things in a woman as well, so I am more than familiar with the drill. But I still prefer one who IS confident over someone just PRETENDING to be confident.

wine/food pairing-It is NOT rocket science after all, and there are not nearly as many rules as you might guess. The wine snobs will tell you differently, but don't listen to them......so you need not be intimidated by the process. Take a look at the back posts on this board...Randy and the others have given many great ideas and Randy in particular is very good at explaining WHY it works.

The wine for dummies book IS a good beginner book, easy and a QUICKer read than some of the others in my opinion. If you don't want to drop the $$$ on a book, look what your library has to offer....mine has a number of good ones available. Also, don't discard the idea of using the restaurant's own staff. Just be smart about it....don't expect to walk in there at dinner time and get their help....make prior arrangements, or stop by at a slow time of the day, when they would have more time to address your questions. IMO, if they are really interested in their business and clients, they will be pleased to help.

As for the woman....this was all meant in fun, and I hope whatever you do, you are successful. Good luck!!

Nancy
