Hi Amitklass and welcome to the board. I think I understand your question but disagree with the premise. Except in the case of sopme very expensive Montrachets the Chards I've come in contact with have the same longevity as other well-made whites from Reisling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc,
and myriad other white grapes. The style of vinification, proficiency of the winemaker, and the terrior all come into play in a wines future. Don't worry, drink happy! WW
