GAD, do you like Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling wines? If Chardonnay is boring you maybe you need to try a New Zealand or Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc (preferably a 2002 Sancerre if you can find one) or a Riesling from Germany, Alsace or Austria. I like the Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand among others. Or you might try the Penny's Hill Chardonnay from Down Under (nice style between the unoaked Trevor Jones Virgin Chardonnay and the quite oaky California chards.)
