2000 Yalumba, Unwooded, South Australia, Chardonnay ($9.99 Lou's Beverage Barn, Augusta, ME). Melon, citrus, and peach nuances on the nose and upfront. Complex honeyed fruit flavors, and crisp acidity add to the texture and weight across the palate. It finished lovelily. This is what chardonnay should taste like. Matched it with yet more leftover smoked turkey. Excellent.
