First German Weekend Trip

I hope while you are in Deutschland you get to visit some of my favorite places such as Triberg in the Schwarzwald (nice waterfall as well as the cuckoo clock places) and Burg Eltz near Moselkern (fantastic castle in a fantastic setting.) http://www.burg-eltz.de/e_index.html
I also loved Heidelberg on the Neckar River and Michelstadt in the Odenwald. In my experience, while Munich, Cologne, Dusseldorf, etc. had some things worth seeing, the smaller villages were more fun to visit than the large cities.
