2000 Bookwalter, Chardonnay, Columbia Valley, Washington, $10, 2,620 cases. Fresh apple and pear aromas are also acknowledged on the palate. The wine is very clean and refreshing without an oak burden to hide the fruit. This will make a nice picnic/food wine. 86/88.
