Duane, if you ever get to Oppenheim please try to track down the Noll family winery. I suspect they may be long out of business because when we were there ('66-'68) Mom & Pop were elderly and the only son was studying to be a doctor.

It is lovely town in Rheinhessen. At least when we were there, you just had to drive down the main drag and knock on the door of any house that had wine bottles in the window. Sure miss it.
