Visited a great little city called Neustadt in Rhineland-Pfalz today. Ate at a great little local restaurant (can't recall the name). Had a popular local dish called "Saumagen" (or Sow's stomach) mit saur kraut und brotchen and real german mustard. Excellent. You can only find it sold in Rhineland-pfalz. It's some type of pork meat with chunks of potato, chestnuts, and spices in loaf-form. Had this with a glass of the local "neuwein," which is a mostly unfermented, unfiltered, cloudy white (riesling in this case I'm sure). Very refreshing.

I love being here!
