Today I begin a much needed Sabbatical

so as my parting wine decided to open a 1996 B.V. GLT Private reserve. Lovely med ruby. Nose of cassis and currants, black fruits, some pencil shavings, and spices. All come over on the palate with a coffee and sage note in the background. Beautifully balanced and close to the TOIG. Supple entry, weighty center and a 4&1/2 lapper finish. Super juice 91/94. 69 by the box. 13.5% alc. WW
