1999 Scherrer Alexander Valley

GAD I've had every red Freds' made since his 1st vintage plus all of the wines he made as winemaker for Tom Dehlinger for 10 years. 2 things....1) I've never had a wine that didn't express the varietals character and 2) Every wine he's shipped was at least above average or outstanding. (This doesn't include his SWs' as I done drink them dudes) His zins are among the 10 best made in Calif IMHO and his pinots and cabs come from some of the best vineyards in Sonoma.
