Wonderful note, and it sounds like a wonderful wine.

$8.49 for the 1978. And today people are putting price tags of upwards $150 (or more!) on wines with no track records, most of which aren't even being drunk.

As an aside, and I don't mean to fault something with which I have no experience, but does anybody even KNOW anybody who has actually HAD a Screagle?
