what happens in the development of fine wine. 1st was the St. Clement. This wine was brite ruby, lovely cassis, floral, spices, and red fruits. Entry was silky, medium weight center, and a 3&1/2 lapper finish with not ONE tannin to be found. A completely finished wine that will hold for another 2-5 depending on storage. 2nd wine was the Anderson Conn Valley Reserve. Deep ruby. Nopse took 1 hour to open and display red and black fruits. Big entry, and weighty center and a solid 4+-lapper finish. Tannins locked in and twisted your tongue in a lip-lock that needs at least another 3 and maybe 5 to resolve. A really solid 90+ wine.
