Had a small business meeting yesserday anf the kitties showed no mercy whassumebber. At precisely 4:55 the paw hit my schnozz and the impatient jungle growl demanded to be fed and let outside. One of my old buddies son is now running a large contract floorcovering operation. We put the periods and semi-colons on a nice contract yesterday so I made the mistake of asking would he like to have lunch? Then compounded the error by asking if maybe his dad mite join us. Started off innocemntly 'nuff, a bottle of 01 T-Vine Grenache, the 2 bottles of 01 Matanzas Creek Merlot. Shifting into overdrive we decided to hit my favorite pushers jernt for some older stuff that was mature with some stubble. 95 & 96 Ch Montelena Cabs was followed by the brilliant idea to go to my house where the selection is kinda better. Added to the mix now is a builder, one of the sons largest customers, who had just completed successively bidding on a 51 acre plot of dirt for a measly 46 mil. Looking at the damage it looks like we dint really apply ourselves as I can only find a 94 Silver Oak Napa, 94 Heitz Trailside, 94 Stags Leap SLV, and a 94 Ch Montelena as dead soldiers. CB went into her inner-santum
saying something under her breath about"Dumb-Donkeys". Ther's no posts because, frankly, it looked and felt more like a fraternity keg party than a Friday afternoon wine tasting. All of the juice musta' been okie-dokie cause there don't be no leftovers.WW
