This is always in the top 10 of the Meritage blends in Calif. Almaost opaque. Black and red fruits, cinnamon, cassis, plum, and a hint of cocoa on the nose. Developed for 30-45 minutes. All hit the palate and really coated the mouth. Heavy center and a 4&3/4ths-lapper. Thot it was all the way but just barely missed. Still some fine-grained tannins lingering that'll take another 2-4 to resaolve. In the meanwhile you wont have to apologise for serving this attractively packaged bottle. 92/90.40 by the box. 13.9% alc
