1991 Ch. St. Jean Cab " Reserve "

This is my 2nd post on a 91 that wasn`t purring along the ole` ageing hiway. This wine has definately started losing fruit at an alarming pace. Had a bottle 6 mos back that was a killer. Bucko, you`da hated this baby. I tasted oak, oak, and some more oak. The St. Jean Reserves have been, until last nite, uniformally superior wines. I strongly suggest anyone who`s cellared this wine to keep close tabs on it. I`m gonna` open another bottle in a couple of weeks and see if , maybe, this was an abberation, hopefully. winoweenie
