Just for the record John Bueuler is one terrific guy and their property High above Lake Hennessey off the Silverado trail is a very impressive piece of real estate. His very first wine, the 1978 Cabernet is on my list of 10 best Calif cabs ever! If my memory serves he made 48-49 cases. After buying a bottle in Santa Barbara, I called John and he gave me the names of every retailer he sold. Didn't keep track but guess I put 1000 extra miles driving picking up a bottle or three wherever they had it. Ended up with a paltry 2&3/4 cases. All at between
6.49 and 8.79 a bottle. The closest he's come to this killer bottling was his 1991 Reserve at 27.50 per. Drank the last bottle 3 years ago and was still classic. Will have to try the new release. WW
