1969 Cabernet Sauvignon

Good evening!!

I am new to this wine board but from what I have read in the other postings, it sounds like there are a lot of wine specialists out there!!

I have a question regarding a bottle of wine I received for a gift several years ago, but have never opened it.

It is a 1969 Sebastiani Cabernet Sauvignon. Is this a valuable wine on a selling market or is it now just good for cooking?? I hate to open it and find out it's worth big bucks but on the other hand if it is still going to be tasty, maybe I should just uncork it and enjoy!!
Anyone out there know anything about this wine??
