Well, I finally made it off the waiting list onto the mailing list at Shafer. They've given me the opportunity to purchase 6 bottles of the 2000 Merlot at $39, which I suppose will give me the chance to get the Hillside Select later on. However, at $130 per for the Hillside Select, do I really want to? With so many really good wines out there at quite a bit less cash (like Lewelling), is the Hillside Select something I can't live without? What to do.
