....this wine is usually a popular case buy wine for people, thus the impetus. Either the wine is less than optimal or I had a bad sample bottle. The wine? 1998 Beringer Knight's Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Disjointed, loaded with astringent green tannins and a bitter taste, this wine had no endearing value for me at all. Has anyone else tried this wine?
