Hi there Rachel. It sounds to me as if you are asking if there is such a thing as increasing tolerance for alcohol. Well, there is, but the extent depends on the person. If you drink a glass every day, it's probable that you'll need to drink a little more over time to achieve those "effects" you like. But I think that the enjoyment you get from the actual wine-drinking experience -- taste, etc. -- would make the trade-off worth it.
