health benifits and wine in a box

Hello,
Being single and wanting to get the benifits of red wine, can you get the same benifits from wine in a box? I am interested because sine I am single it would take me several days to drink a bottle of wine and I understand that wine loses it potencey after being opened. Also can you suggest a good box wine, I like sweet wines.
