Hi Tiger, and welcome to the Wine Board. They grow a lot of grapes in India and make wine too. Not sure what varieties.

I think that some of the grapes grown in Sicily might do well there too. These include Nero d'Avola, Perricone (for blending), and Nerello Mascalese for reds, and Catarratto Bianco and Ansonica for whites.
