Research on the global wine business

Dear members,

A student at the Paris Graduate School of Management, I am preparing my thesis on the worldwide wine markets. I am trying as well as I can, to gather information about this industry. UCDavis in California have been very helpful, but now I am trying to understand the remaining countries' diverse production of grape based drinks. Has anypne ever done any study on this before or know of any organisation or consultancy firm that works in the industry ? I would also be very interested in talking to members of the winegrowe/producer community to get a down-to-earth undersatnding of what this is all about.
