The MI bill, H4752 (S-1), needs to go back to the House for concurrence since there were significant changes made by the Senate. This did not happen before the midnight deadline on the 8th. There will be a "clean up" session on June 20th. In the meantime Free the Grapes! has asked our MI members to contact the bill's sponsor Nancy Cassis. Cassis original intent was to prevent minors from purchasing wine on the Internet, but of course now the bill does much more than that. Any MI residents who want more information on contacting Cassis can e-mail us at fedup@freethegrapes.org
