In reply to Sedhed, one reason my oldest nephew left the Navy after his inital term was that he wanted a job where he didn't have to be up at 5:00 every morning. In his next job after earning his MBA he supervised an assembly line on the 4:00 AM shift! I laughed at that! But after about a year he received a promotion and more regular hours on the job. Now he's consulting for that company part time while managing a mortgage brokering business in San Diego with a partner.
