We had a case in New York that almost backfired on the wine industry. It involved a really wine-friendly NY Senator, whose father, I believe, had worked in the wine industry. The senator went to bat for the industry every chance he could, and did a lot to help foster changes--until he was arrested in his car one evening, asleep at the wheel from intoxication.

True story that proves, when you lobby you've got to pick'em carefully...
