In a recent edition of Northwest Brew News, there was an article about a law that was recently changed in Washington State. Apparently you couldn't buy beers above about 10% alc. Thus, effectively eliminating barley wine. Well, a barley wine lover frequented a bar that a state legislator also frequented. Well, the legislator turned out to be a fine beer and barleywine lover. they all had a chat and the legislator set about change the law.
