ok, folks... usually i fly blind and do pretty well matching, but i'm having a semi-hero of mine over to dinner tuesday night, and i want the wine to be perfect.
food will be:

spinach salad with mustard vinagrette
homemade rosemary bread
roasted potatoes w/ carrot and onion
and my excellent 5 mushroom risotto

what should it be fellas?
i want something safe, but hopefully spectacular.
