We welcome all new participants, as long as you are here to talk about or learn about wine. Our registration process now requires you to describe (very briefly) your personal or professional interest in wine.

Please note that the questions asked in the registration process are part of our vetting process. We find that spammers and spambots either don't answer the questions or don't give answers that make sense. When that happens, we immediately ban the user from the board. Sorry, but that is the best way we've found to deal with spammers and keep the board open for real people who really drink and enjoy wine!
