2010 Tobin James Tempranillo/Syrah

2010 Tobin James Tempranillo/Syrah James Gang Reserve. This one came in the Fall 2013 shipment from Tobin James; the list price was $48 per bottle. It gave blackberries on the nose and upfront; more fruit including plums, and a hint of smoky bacon in the middle; and a finish that goes on and on.

We matched over two nights with 1. Penne in our Italian tomato sauce, Italian sausages loaded with fennel, and salad; and 2. Cinco d'Mayo II tonight with beef tamales in our enchilada sauce, Mexican rice, cheese and shredded lettuce.
